Purpose of Oracle SOA Management in Oracle common folder

Hi All,

I have a question to ask, I saw Oracle SOA Management in the middleware\oracle_common folder.

WE use EPM 11.1.2.3 and are using HFM. I wanted to understand if this gets automatically installed as a pert of weblogic or what is the purpose of this as I don't think that it is being used anywhere.

Apologies if I am not very clear i the question but maybe you could guide me anyhow.
