Siebel Product Script for Email Validation

Hi

We have a requirement where we need to write product level validation for some text attributes where email ids will be entered. If the user don't enter proper email address then error will be thrown as incorrect value.

I checked whether we can use DVM but for attribute I wasn't able to use it.

Please suggest how to write this logic in script as i am not able to proceed.
