Grid Infrastructure 12.2.0.1.0 - gridSetup.sh

Hi all,

If you are trying to install Grid Infrastructure 12.2.0.1.0 on Solaris 11.3 (SPARC), you might get the following error:

...

ERROR: Unable to run the setup script as user (). Run the setup script from a location where the Oracle Grid Infrastructure software image is owned by user ().

Alternatively, run the setup script using -destinationHome pointing to a location that is writable by user (). That location specified as -destinationHome will then be used as Oracle Grid Infrastucture home.

If anyone else has managed this and not gotten this error please do let me know..

What appears to be happening is that on line 119 of <gridSetup.pl> (perl program called by <gidSetup.sh>) an assignment does not work correctly for some reason:-
