Issue with Work order

In my work order I have issued(Dispensed) the quantity for few components, now I have an issue and am planning to cancel the work order.

Please answer my below queries:

1. Is it possible to recover/revert the quantity dispensed in this work order by not using the Inventory issues application(I can put a negative dispensing in inventory issues and revert the dispensed quantity) but can I revert the issued quantity by any other way?
