R12.1.3 clone question on INST_TOP for apps Tier copy

Performing first clone of R12.1.3  10.2.0.5 db on 32bit RHEL4.  Per Pg 6 (406982.1) , a. Copy the application tier file system:

Copy the following application tier directories from the source node to the target application tier node:

[APPL_TOP]

[COMMON_TOP]

Applications Technology Stack:

     [OracleAS Tools ORACLE_HOME]

     [OracleAS Web IAS_ORACLE_HOME]

However there is no mention of copying INST_TOP. Should INST_TOP be copied from source to target ?

Please advise.
