accrual that rolls over to another accrual once limit is hit

Has anyone ever set up an accrual that rolls over to another accrual automatically once the limit on the first accrual has been met?  For example, if we have a limit of 360 vacation hours, but want to track how many vacation hours were lost, how would I go about transferring those lost hours to another accrual code?
