multiple units to single unit asset assignment

Hi All ,

One of our assets has been wrongly entered with 1000 units instead of single unit . Do not see a possibility of changing this through asset assignments from 1000 units to 1.

Is there any way to accomplish this without retiring the existing asset and adding a new one with correct units?
