Asset depreciating to old chartstring

We have an asset that some time ago was recategorized from LPURC to LBLDG, as well as the PROJECT_ID, DEPTID, and PROGRAM_CODE where changed as well.

Recently it started depreciating to the correct chartstring, but also the old chartstring, so it is calculating double depreciation.

We have tried to create an open transaction or a book adjustment to force the depreciation table to fix the issue, but it has not.  We prefer not to delete the incorrect chartstring rows in the depreciation table.
