Attribute Value Compare using Product Script

Hi

We have the below requirement :

Create an attribute called Test 1 and then add a picklist and pick map to it.

Create another attribute Test 2 . This attribute is a free text.

Now when value is selected in attribute Test 1 some other value automatically gets populated in Test 2 attribute.

The above requirements were implemented. But the issue now is if customer representative manually deletes the value of either Test 1 and Test 2 then there's no way to show a warning message to them.
