Failure Codes on PM Generated Work Order

We are using 12.2.5. We have failure codes associated to Asset Groups, and they are required to be entered. When a PM Work Order is generated with an asset group that has a required failure set against it, it is set to no and no failure codes can be entered.

I agree with this is how it should work, but just wanted to verify this is the intended functionality.
