Benefits of Grouping Management Task in RPAS RDF v16

Hi Experts,

In RDF v16, we have a new utility "Grouping Management Task" - a new utility available to create groups with store/csku combinations.

I understand we can group the store-product combination into groups based on Historical Sales or any other metrics. But I'm not able to understand the benefit from this grouping. Whether these groups will be available while building wizards? Or can we identify the current forecast algorithm being picked by RDF functions?
