Solution/Workaround for amortization of Prepaid Expenses

Hi All,

Can you suggest a solution/work-around for amortization of prepaid expense over multiple periods in AP? I am not looking Multi Period Accounting (MPA) solution for this is this would involve SLA modification. Any other work around would be appreciated.

Scenario:

Insurance paid in advance in Month1 need to amortized/recognized in 12 months.
