Do SI Groups keep the older closed SRs before creation

When we create an SI Group, do the closed SRs from the SIs that are been MOVED into the SI Group "disappear"?  I have seen My Oracle Support How to Create and Manage Support Identifier Groups (SI Groups or SIGs) (Doc ID 1569482.2) and it does not mention it.

Also, I am aware that for an individual SI, the closed SRs remain forever and we must click on the icon to see them, etc..  but, what about SI Groups?
