Red Hat 7 XFS support

Looking for a little clarification on Oracle database support for using the XFS file system on Red Hat 7.

If I look at Certification Information for Oracle Database on Linux x86-64 (Doc ID 1304727.1)' it says:

  • Oracle Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel information:

Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel for Linux is available for x86-64 platforms. It is based on a recent stable mainline Linux kernel, and also includes optimizations developed in collaboration with Oracle Database, Oracle middleware, and Oracle hardware engineering teams to ensure stability and optimal performance for the most demanding enterprise workloads.  New releases of Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel occur approximately every 18 months.
