Pause Task is required if there is Wait step in the Orchestration process

Hi,

Is it required to have a pause task in an orchestration process when there is a wait step in the process? We defined a process with no pause task but it generated this error when we tried to validate the process "task name pause does not exist in this process definition".

Some one please provide some insight on this please.
