Is there a way to handle different dimensions of the same item?

I have a scenario where during a purchase receipt we can have 3 lots of the same item and each lot with different dimensions, but all three lots are packaged on a container with specific dimensions as well. The thing is that we inform about item or container dimensions during receipts and we need to manage warehouse  putaway suggestions. At the same time, quantities within each lot are not always a fixed conversion.

It is a wood industry customer.
