Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. How to change Item Category control from org level to master level - R12 ?

We need to to apply the same item category to an item in each org it is assigned to.

However the Item Category control is at Org Level. This means we have to manually specify Item Category in each org attribute.

Is it possible to default Item Category from master level to all orgs it is assigned to?
