OTL: Shift rotation

edited Jun 19, 2017 3:12PM in Payroll and OTL - EBS (MOSC) 8 commentsAnswered ✓

I'm very new to OTL in oracle (R12) and am trying to set up a rotating shift. I find the manual very vague on how to use this screen.

I've entered the Name, description, work plan name and start date but I do not know

1.  whether I need to put in more instances of Work Plan name and Start Dat

2. put anything in next start date

3. do I need to use autogenerate and number of rotations? What do these fields do?

Once I've finished this (with your kind help!), do I then assign people to the shift or are there other set up steps I have to do to get payroll to "recognize" the new shift.

Howdy, Stranger!
