Hi gurus,

I'm really stuck trying to call an external procedure from PLSQL. I have been reading, testing and now, I'm really stuck trying to execute a simple dll created in VB.

Following the manuals (ang some papers in Google) I have setup in my laptop with XE DB 11G:

  • Tnsnames

EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA =

  (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

      (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC1))

    )

    (CONNECT_DATA =

      (SID = PLSExtProc)

      (PRESENTATION = RO)

    )

  )

ORACLR_CONNECTION_DATA =

  (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

      (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC1))

    )

    (CONNECT_DATA =

      (SID = CLRExtProc)

      (PRESENTATION = RO)

    )

  )

  • Listener

SID_LIST_LISTENER =

  (SID_LIST =

    (SID_DESC =

      (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)

      (ORACLE_HOME = C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server)
