Installed base status "Returned for Repair" changed in R12
Hi,
We are migrating from 11.5.10 to 12.2.4
I've noticed that I cannot create Service Requests in R12 for serial numbers that are in status "Returned for Repair", which was enables in 11i.
The Instance status has been updated by Oracle AUTOINSTALL from "Requests Allowed" = Y to N, and this status is protected against update.
We sometimes exchange customer's serials receiving them to inventory, and later open another service request for internal customer.
This change does not allow such behavior.
Please advise how this issue can be solved.
