Options for Ship Confirm on Weekends

We are on R12.1.3, do not use Oracle WMS or Transportation apps.  Our Shipping calendar is setup for Mon - Fri, as is ATP scheduling.  If there is inventory available and trucks can pick up on Sat, but the Scheduled Ship date is later--like, Mon or mid week, other than Override ATP checkbox, is there a way to be able to allow Ship Confirm of that order on Saturdays or Sunday?  We do not want to include weekends for ATP scheduling, because it is an exception.
