Memory consumption issues with OEM v12

OEM 12.1.0.5  on AIX    7.1

We have now had multiple incidents where our AIX v7.1 database hosts had to be rebooted because of all swap space being consumed.

With the most recent one, we captured a memory trace before rebooting and shipped it to IBM for analysis.

What they were able to discern was:

a)  the swap space was consumed by a java process/program

b)  the parent process of the java process was a perl program

c)  the owner of both of these process was the ORACLE account

Now this is not a smoking gun, but in most of our environments, including the most recent failure, the only software that matches that profile is OEM.
