We have 2 Exadatas( X2-2), 2node RAC with dataguard enabled(physical standby). All the databases are

Upgrade grid from 11.2.0.4 to latest 12c grid having dataguard environment(physical standby)

Primary Environment

Exadata X2-2(2 node rac)

Primary DB version: 11.2.0.4

Grid: 11.2.0.4

Standby environment

Exadata X2-2(2 node rac)

Primary DB version: 11.2.0.4

Grid: 11.2.0.4

wanted to know if we can upgrade grid on the standby site first...so on standby we will have latest 12c grid...will Dataguard work now with different grid homes?
