Employee Supervisor Relationship

Hello,

I have been used for a long time to work/interact with the F05840 Employee/Supervisor Relationship, whether for ESS, MSS, Compensation Mgmt or other functionalities.

I noticed that the new menu item "Employee/Supervisor Relationships P02150" had been added recently - I had not noticed it before - on the following menu: Workforce Management > HRM Foundation > Daily Processing > Employee Management .

I understand that P02150 uses the Distribution List ES and creates records in the F0150, but my question is:

What is the main purpose of F0150 EE/Supervisor Relationship, or should I rather formulate my question this way: what is the difference, in their usage, between populating F05840 by using R05846 or populating F0150 by using P02150, and why should we do both?  F05840 is a no-brainer but why in addition to it, should we use P02150?
