IP 16.9 : Query Assistant Date and Time fields missing

Hi All,

  As part of query assistant we can pull out all text fields to build a query but not the fields which are of type date and time, In earlier versions we were able to build queries using date and time. But in IP 16 we can see that the date and time based fields are not visible in the pick list. When we check the Query Assistant BC, it just shows fields of type Text.

Is there a way to customize it such that end users can use the query assistant feature to build queries on date and time fields.
