IP 16.9 : Email Inbound eating up space on Processed folder in FS

Hi All,

we have recently upgraded to IP 16.9 and we could notice that the processed folder on siebsrvr/bin/processed folder size is growing exponentially.

Not sure what was the reason for it. Earlier in Ip 13 we used to have an avg size of this folder of 10 - 20 G in a week, but currently the size of the folder is arounf 130G in just 4 days.

We have noticed 1 issue of duplicate emails getting processed for which the team is adding a fix. Otherwise we are not sure why this folder is growing in size.

Also we would like to know if we remove files from Processed folder, will there be any impact. What exactly is this folder used to ? Backtrack and reporting ??
