Updating Commitment Control End Date for Projects

We are wondering if there is a way that users can update the end date for a project in the Budget Definition for commitment control.   There does not seem to be a transaction that updates this in the budget definition. 

The Start and End dates are pushed to Commitment Control through PC_WRAPPER. Projects are often extended, e.g. an extension to a federal grant.  Currently we are going into the budget definition for the project budgets in  Commitment Control using Change History and manually updating the end date.   There must be a better way to do this.

Is there a process that we haven't found or has anyone found a solution for this?
