Future Add Transaction Type - Date must be in a future asset period

Error Message: APP-OFA-48678: Date must be in a future asset period.

Fact:

• Invoice Date = 03-MAY-2017, Transaction Date = 03-MAY-2017
• May period closed on 6/6/17 and June opened on 6/6/17
• An invoice came in FA on May 3 and was in the NEW queue.  In mid-May, end user tried to move the invoice to the Post queue but got the error message “APP-OFA-48678: Date must be in a future asset period.”  End user tried to post it again in mid-June and got the same error.

Solution:  We finally figured out that we need to update the Transaction Date from 03-MAY-2017 to 01-JUL-2017 so the end user can move the invoice to the Post queue.
