Amortization - second time

Hi,

I added an asset with the following details:

Cost - 36,400.92

DPIS - 01-FEB-2015

Accumulated Depreciation - 821.22

Life - 34 months

Amortization Date - 01-FEB-2016

Period of Addition - Jun17

Depreciation - Monthly

I ran depreciation and closed the Jun17 period. I then changed the life of the asset to 84 months and amortized it from 01-MAR-2017 and ran depreciation for Jul17. I would expect the system to calculate the Depreciation amount for Jul17 period based on the NBV as of 01-MAR-2017 and spread over the new life but the system is not behaving that way. Have I done something incorrectly?

I have attached the Trace file. Any help will be much appreciated.
