How to do JDE 9.2 upgrade through new Install option instead of Standard Upgrade

Hello All,

Due to our iSeries architecture limitation JDE 9.1 to 9.2 direct upgrade (Both traditional/Simplified) is not supported by Oracle, so we are considering other options (Out of box) how to achieve 9.1 to 9.2 upgrade? The first option we think of it go for 9.2 install on our server (deployment server -> New / Enterprise Server (Logic/database) -> Existing 9.1 Server) then run Upgrade plan to convert data and spec. Would like to know what are steps and things to be considered in this option? Also would like to get opinion from you folks and if there is any document available.

Regards,

Prakash
