Is Oracle planning on removing java encoding from Unifier in future versions?

Since Firefox version 52 and up no longer supports NPAPI support which is required for Java applets, Unifier doesn't allow opening attachments or attempting to print workflows to PDF.  The only way to open an attachment from a BP record is to click once and select download which is an acceptable work around, but there appears to not be any for printing workflow graphics.  I'd like to know if Oracle is planning on fixing that issue with Firefox and phasing out Java completely.  My environment is on Version 17.4 of Unifier moving to 17.6 next week.  Other environments at my
