GL_Balances purging for Closed Code Combinations

Hello All,

We are in process of analyzing purge data from GL_Balances table for Closed code combinations(only period to balance is zero)

to bring some performance benefits but without any impact on Business.

Do you have any case studies or doc_id or any suggested approach for the GL_Balances clean up?
