web adi slow after the latest office security update

My users have started to complain of extremely slow Journal upload via Web ADI. I have noticed that a new security update for microsoft office has been installed in the last few days. There is even one specific to excel kb3191847

Has anybody experienced anything similar? any idea how to mitigate. This is Offiice 2010
