TCA question (Customer Vs. Supplier)

Hello;

I'm trying to confirm something about Oracle EBS R12.2.4.  Is the following a true statement of intended design:

1.  If you create a new Supplier for the first time... that process creates a Party Record -- which is then visible over on the Customer Standard search.  (However, it would have no Customer Account linked to it.)

You could then, if desired, Add a Customer Account to that Party Record (ie, via Customer Standard screen.)
2.  If you create a new Customer for the first time... that process creates a Party Record  -- but it will never be "visible" when you search for that same name, over in Suppliers page.
