What is the best practice to clean logs from FDMEE application root folder (FDMEE/Outbox)

We are using FDMEE 11.1.2.3.501 and found lot of log information stored in application root folder (FDMEE-Outbox). Can anyone advise what is the best practice to clean this log information on a monthly basis
