Amending PDF contracts with a PDF Amendment File

My organization has been running into an issue with the amendment process for Supplier Contracts. Here is the process:

  • Supplier provided PDF contract imported into the system as a Draft
  • Contract goes through the document lifecycle and is executed
  • Supplier provides a PDF amendment file to amend existing executed contract

Selecting to create an amendment allows us to use a configurator to create the amendment, but then the file must be in an .xml format. We have no means of uploading the vendor supplied PDF file.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?
