Profitablity by industry

Hi,

Present scenario:

Our Client has set up the Revenue/Cost Business units by different Industries  / Services they are transacting with. Because of this setup, they are able to report from the Income statement accounts the profitability analysis by Industry / Service.

However, for Balance sheet accounts, the profitability by Industries / Services cannot be generated as there is only one Balance sheet by Company.

Requirement:

The breakup of Balance sheet balances by Industry is required mainly for AR, AP and payroll related accounts.

Solution -1

Create Balance Sheet  Business units in each Company.

AR, AP and Payroll AAI's will be setup and point to the accounts mapped to these Business Units.
