Grade Step Progression scenarios

Hi,

I have a question related to Grade Step Progression. My client has two scenarios which I put before you as an example.

1. Suppose Our client have 3 grades A,B,C. Every grade has 10 steps, and point values assigned against those steps as mentioned in attached excel file.

Grade A assignmed to employee and place him on step 1. Once he reached to step 10 of Grade A due to followng the Grade step progression, the employee

should move on to grade B but on step 7 of Grade B instead of step 1 of Grade B due to point value. As In last grade (Grade A - 10) he was already earning
