How to Sweep & Close the Payable Period when No further periods are in open status

Hello Experts

Our Jun-17 period has some un-accounted transactions.  Using sweep program transfer the unaccounted to next period and closing the AP period is common scenario. Our situation is Business took decision not to do operations in Jul-17, so they are not opening Jul-17 period and also immediately they will not open Aug-17. In this situation No future periods are in Open to sweep the unaccounted items of Jun-16. So how to close the Jun-16 periods.

Soliciting suggestions and workarounds.
