Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. If this policy affects you, act now to change the email address that is associated with your Oracle (and community) account. Does anyone know about the support of European GDPR (Data Privacy) guidelines.?

Hi,

until May 2017 the new European Union Guidelines for Data protection must be in place.

From Oracle exists some documentation for technical tools (e.g. Data Masking) to meet the new legal requierments.

But we don't found any informations about GDPR and Oracle E-Business Suite.

For SAP customer many white papers exists with a solution approach from the application perspective, but nothing is to found from Oracle.

We open a SR and ask the Oracle support, but answer was, this is a ER.

Have any here information about the European GDPR and the support of Oracle E-Business Suite.

E.g. GDPR defined that isn't allowed to use in Test Systems personal data from customer, supplier, employee.
