Retaining the default field values associated with BP Picker after selecting clear option

We have BP Picker and certain fields associated with that picker which are getting auto populated from that BP picker, but after selecting clear option from the picker window all the associated fields are getting cleared but not retaining the default value which has been set in the data definition.
