12c DNFS

Hi All,

i have production DB running in 12c oracle home where performance is inconsistent with many of the processes, One of things identified is DNFS is not enabled,

is there are any known issue/known bugs encountered with enabling DNFS in 12c?

can we enable it without any downtime

o/s : oracle linux server 6
