After adding a table to rtf CHECK1_CHECK the check prints on 2 pages not 1

I have a requirement to move the bank information on the delivered check form so it prints below the Supplier name and address information.  I added a new table which has 2 rows and 1 column and moved the fields from the table which contains the Logo in the attached rtf into the new table.  I adjusted the outermost table which contains the new table to account for the added space but cannot get the check to print on one page.  Do all tables contained on the .rtf need to be adjusted after adding a table?  I've numerous adjustments and
