Context variable type randomly changes on releasing version of customizable product

Hi All,

Whenever we make changes in context variable type in a linked item, it changes randomly to Dtype_text automatically later.

Example: If I create a boolean variable and change the context variable type to dtype_bool,after releasing the version the context variable becomes dtype_text again, however under the Expression,it remains as dtype_bool still. Please find attached the screenshot for the same.

Application version we are using is 8.1.1.10.

Can you please let us know what could be the issue and how can this bug be fixed?
