Early Rent increase creation

Hi,

I have a below requirement.

Business requirement:

There are leases already created need to upload them in the current system.

Example:

Lease execution date: 01-JUL-2012

Lease commencement date: 01-JUL-2017

Lease Termination date:31-DEC-2020

Rent increase start date:01-JUL-2017

Rent increase End date :31-DEC-2020

I have loaded a lease with the above scenario and trying to create rent increase from 01-JUL-2017 effective, But system is generating rent increase only form 01-JUL-2018.

Can anyone please let me know how to achieve this.
