Error when adding NEW summary Accounts thru Account Hierarchy Mng. AHM-00017:This value already exis

Hi there,

Added new Summary Accounts to the Account Hierarchy.  Saved and Closed out.  Opened back up and the Newly Added Summary account as well as the Objects underneath disappeared. Try Adding them again and get below error:

AHM-00017:This value already exists.Please enter a different value

I can see that this is a known bug--> Bug 13069635.  However Cannot see a Patch for it??

Any ideas, work-arounds to remedy this issue is highly appreciated!
