Message Automatically Disappears on PageWithout User Interaction

in CRM On Demand - Web Services Integration (MOSC) Question

In regards to an Oracle Commerce Cloud application, I am encountering a problem. When a user updates his/her profile (name or password), the success message only displays on the page for a short amount of time. The message should be stable and remain visible until the user clicks the link to close the div. However, the message displays the div on the page for a split second and then automatically closes. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
