T2000 solaris 10 u4 with kernel 127111-06

in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) Question

Hi Folks,

Regards. We have with customer a proactive remediation plan with several platforms included patches updates on solaris. I noticed that every one had old kernel versions and the goal is (by LU) take them to 150400-XX.

One example is 127111-06 on a T2000 platform. However i can see space issues with /var (avail 5682685) and /opt (avail 1939115). Additionally all the servers has third party vendors (Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1 and EMC powerpath 5.5.P01_b002

What is the best i can do with this scenario:

- Patch update by LU with the actual space on var and opt?

- Upgrade Solaris update from U4 to U11 by LU?
