Springboard not pulling in batch applications within menu

All,

I am attempting to integrate a menu dedicated to reports for a certain module into a composite page. The idea is the menu will continuously have reports/batch versions added to it and it will dynamically update the composite page springboard as reports/batch versions are added. As of now I am not seeing any of the reports/batch versions that are already within the menu appear on the springboard.

I have attached images, has anyone had this problem?

EDIT: If I grab a higher level menu it will pull in the few applications on that menu, more attachments
