How to use Office 365 as the SMTP Server for OTM/GTM.

Trying to figure out the way to use Office 365 as the SMTP server to send mail out of OTM/GTM. Numerous documentations refer to a connector in office 365 and other suggest specific property set updates. Any help is appreciated.
